195 Illegal Apartments to be demolished in Bhubaneswar

ApartmentsOdisha Government has decided to demolish around 195 illegal apartments in Bhubaneswar for violating guidelines.

In a written reply to MLA Chandrasekhar Majhi, the Housing and Urban Development Minister Pushpendra Singh Deo on Friday informed in the Assembly that as many as 195 illegal apartments built in the capital city will be demolished for violating norms.

As per section 91 (1) of Odisha Development Authorities Act, 1982, the cases have been registered against the violators.

The Minister stated that in Bhubaneswar there have 1415 apartments out of which 583 are illegal. For the time being 195 apartments will be demolished.
