Indian Engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla shot Dead by American in Kansas

An Indian Engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla was allegedly killed by Adam Purinton, a 51-year old Navy veteran after yelling “get out of my country” on Wednesday night in Kansas.

Srinivas Kuchibhotla, 32, was working as an aviation engineer at technology company Garmin, accompanied by his friend Alok Madasani who was injured in the attack were enjoying their evening in a local sports bar in Olathe on Wednesday when Purinto confronted them with racial abuses.

Ian Grillot, a passer-by who intervened to save them was also injured in the shooting.

Purinton was arrested early in the Thursday morning from a restaurant when he revealed the news to a barkeeper that he had killed two ‘Middle Eastern’ men which was 80 miles away from the bar where Srinivas was shot dead.
