PM Modi distributes Aid, Assisting Devices to ‘Divyangs’ in Vadodara

divyangs-in-vadodara-modiPrime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed artificial limbs and assisting devices to over 10,000 Divyangs in Vadodara, while attending the Samajik Adhikarikta Shivir in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Distributing equipment to the Divyangs, Modi said, “We have to be conscious about the requirements of our Divyang sisters and brothers”.

He further said, “This is an opportunity to provide help and spread a sense of responsibility among 1.25 billion Indians for the Divyangs”.

He ensured that facilities for Divangs will be of equal ease as for a fit and healthy person in the society.

Today, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the state of art international terminal at Harni airport in Vadodara.

The state-of-the-art terminal, built at a cost of 160 crore rupees is spread over 18 thousand square meters and can handle 700 passengers every hour. It will have 18 check-in counters on domestic and international terminals.
