#MissionPrabhughat – Swachh Kashi Campaign by Temsutula

In a bid to clean Kashi or Varanasi, which has been the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Temsutula Imsong, who hails from Nagaland, has undertaken a unique drive with great success. She works with Sakaar, which promotes the development of rural community with an active involvement of Servicemen, Ex servicemen as well as general public.

The campaign known as ‘MissionPrabhughat’, has the goal of cleaning the ghats, keeping a vigil and stop everyone from defecating or urinating at the specific ghats of Varanasi. The drive has been going on for the last three days. In the first phase, they cleaned the Chet Singh Ghat in Varanasi.

Their mission statement is ‘Today We Started… And, Made a Change!!! And, Tomorrow Holds a Promise As We Won’t Stop”. The team has shared the WhatsApp number – 08765674329 and the email address – [email protected], urging everyone to join hands and undertake the cleanliness drive.

Interestingly, a lot of volunteers have joined the #MissionPrabhughat campaign on their own. Even small kids joined the efforts with full intent and dedication. The BJP leaders and workers lead from the front, while many techies and students are also part of the campaign.
