JSPL celebrates 68th Republic Day with 10,000 people

More than 10,000 people from the periphery villages joined Mr. Naveen Jindal, Chairman of JSPL at Angul to celebrate 68th republic day celebration organized by Jindal Steel and Power Ltd.  Mr. Jindal of hoisted the National Flag in presence of the huge gathering.

Among others Mr. Ravi Uppal, M.D & Group CEO, Mr. Rajesh Bhatia, Group-CFO, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, Executive Director (i/c) Angul, Mrs. Sujata Saraogi, President-Jindal Mahila Samiti (JMS), other distinguished guests, officials of JSPL with their family members, Students of O.P. Jindal School and DAV-Savitri Jindal High-School, etc. witness the mega celerbation.

Addressing at this patriotic celebration Mr. Naveen Jindal thanked the huge gathering for celebrating the 68th Republic Day and asked every individuals of this nation to discharge his or her duty and responsibility to take our country to a new high. “Every positive thought for nation building means a lot and every activity follows only after the thought process behind it”, he said. He advised every individual of JSPL and this nation to perform his duty effectively and honestly. Make in India is an appeal and Making in India is a Reality. We are feeling proud for taking this initiative a decade ago, he added.

After unfurling the national flag, Mr. Naveen Jindal went into the public and personally wished each and every individual on this Republic Day. The gathering also geared up with enthusiasm and almost everyone from the public rushed to greet Mr. Jindal and to take a selfie with the crusader of tri-color, who fought a legal battle for Ten years to get the right of flying the National Flag round the year by every citizen of our country.

School student of O.P. Jindal School and DAV-Savitri Jindal High-School participated in this celebration and performed various patriotic cultural programmes.

Angul Location Head and Executive Director (I/c) Mr. Dinesh Saraogi also conveyed the Republic Day message to one and all and expressed his gratitude for such a big gathering. He thanked State administration, local people, district administration, workers and employees for their support and contribution in building this mega steel project at Angul.

Continuing the practice to distribute sweets on the occasion of Republic Day and Independence Day, the Corporate Social Responsible (CSR) team of JSPL distributed 22,250 number of sweet packets to the school students and children of various Anganwadi Kendras situated at 17 gram panchayats of this vicinity.
