Vidya Balan’s Begum Jaan Movie First Look released

The first look poster of actress Vidya Balan’s upcoming film “Begum Jaan” released on Tuesday.

The National Award winner actress had shared a glimpse of the character which she portrays in the film.

The poster grabbed the attention of the viewers. Vidya is seen sitting on the chair in a commanding position with the intense look holding a hookah in her hand and dressed in a ghaghra and long -sleeved blouse. The poster is captioned with a tagline, “My Body, My House, My Country, and My Rules.”

The film is all set in the backdrop of late Indian Independence period of 1947. Vidya plays the lead role in Begum Jaan along with Naseeruddin Shah, Ila Arun, Pallavi Sharda, Gauahar Khan, Rajit Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi and Chunky Pandey.

The film was directed by Bengali director Srijit Mukherjee which is a remake of Bengali film “Rajkahini”. The music is composed by Anu Malik and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films, the movie is all set to release on 14 April 2017.
