Debate on Demonetisation and Notesban

modi-demonetisationFacebook Debate: What’s Your Take on #Demonetisation and #Notesban?

Sandeep Sahu: Ill thought out scheme implemented in a hurry without adequate assessment of the hardships it would cause the people and the actual benefits, if any, it would bring. A perfect example of act first, think later!

Tapan Kar: Best going on after still surviving …. Morning shows the day.

Raghunath Panda: It was long long due.

Deepak Kumar Prusty: Good step. But need to check the back stabbers..

Amit Kumar Dash: Demonetisation is an excellent economic tool to bring economic reform in the system. But the poor implementation by the Central govt made it a problem than solution. It could have been done with better preparedness of the govt and adequate inventory support by the country’s Central Bank (RBI) so that the poor, uneducated and people at the grassroots who don’t have any distant relationship with black money or fake currency would not have suffered and the banking system could have functioned more smoothly without negative impacts on the people.

Sangram Keshari Nepak: Near about 14L/15.44L crore rupees have already been deposited in banks….7 more days to go to deposit in bank & 3 more months to deposit in the RBI….So it’s too early to conclude anything, but one thing is clear that the implementation is disastrous…. The regular shifting of goal post by the govt starting from black money to cashless & now less cash economy also put a question mark on the move….One has to carry a rule book with him/her daily to meet the hourly changing rules & regulations by the govt….

Aroop Jena: There is lot of merit and demerits of this issue..So there is no conclusion on this topic.

Naresh Mishra Kunal: Very good move, but there should be one law for all. No mercy for political parties.

Rahul Bihani: Media crying….politicians crying….big jewellers crying…Big Lawyers crying….Some big and small business men crying…Due to demonetisation…..Rest public is happy…But upset about its implementation.

In Social Media lots of jokes and messages about failure of Govt Policy are being shared. One point which is missing from them is retrospection by the society. There may be some flaws in policy and implementation, but what is painful is, “we the people of India”, are determined to make it a failure.

Here we simply means we Indians as a society. Who so ever has got an opportunity to cheat the nation, has cheated using his full potential. Whether he is a banker, or cooperative society , or man allowing his account to be used, or a businessman giving entry if cash in hand is there and so on. It appears that everyone is determined to make the scheme failure and blame the government. Its not the defeat of the government but of India by its citizens. It’s sad actually. When your soul has given up, body cant win the battle.

Swadhinee Pati: Like a coin, it has two sides – both good and bad.
